USD/CAD Open: 1.1202-1.1204 Overnight Range: 1.1201-1.1234
The Canadian dollar was rangebound in overnight currency exchange markets. Oil is at $80.90 and gold is at $1,232. US futures are negative. Today, there are no major data releases.
The short term Canadian dollar technicals are negative. For today, USD resistance is at 1.1395. Support is at 1.0925.
NY reported its first Ebola case. Focus remains on corporate earnings. Commodity currencies are higher overnight. Not much data being released today. The Canadian dollar seems to have held its ground over the last week with the US dollar not sustaining its gains above 1.13. Look for the Canadian dollar to follow overall risk sentiment.
